"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. (Rev 12:11 NASB) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message  We have pressing in for breakthroughs in how to live in confusing and destructive times. We know that we wrestle not with flesh and blood but with spiritual realities that seek to enslave us or liberate us. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12) Wrestling is a unique sport in that is often not about strength but about balance and technique. In order to succeed in a wrestling match, we need to be able to anticipate the moves of our adversary and wait for openings which allow us to shift the balance of power into a strategic advantage. “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.” (1 John 2:20) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message   I read a t-shirt recently that gave t-shirt wisdom. You know, t-shirt wisdom is a quote usually from someone that people agree with. It can be a bible verse or some aphorism that someone spoke or wrote that motivated the thinking of those who ascribe to that philosophy or system of thought. The statement was “Hope is a poor strategy”. The idea was that if all you have is hope for things, then you stand very little chance of getting them, strategically. I thought about this for a while, because the Bible speaks about hope in a very different way. Let’s read a few verses. Psa 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. Psa 31:24 Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. Psa 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (Joh 8:31-32 NKJV) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message   The overcoming life is found through the blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony and not loving our lives unto death. "And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. (Rev 12:11 NASB) Testimony is made effective by agreement. Where there is agreement there is the basis for truth. "Again, I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. (Mat 18:19 NASB) Overcoming testimony requires those in agreement to be “one”. All believer’s who have been born-again are born into a oneness in the kingdom of G

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Rom 8:1 NASB)   To listen to the audio-only version click below    Last session we began speaking about the testimony of the Spirit. We compared the impact of trying to solve the issues of our conscience from self-efforts, what the scriptures calls dead works to living the overcoming life by the Spirit. “how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Hebrews 9:14) What drives dead works? Our conscience. Our conscience is defined as that part of ourselves that determines the rightness or wrongness of something. How do we do that? What informs our conscience? I think our conscience, at its root is informed by our need to find out what is good and evil in our lives and then to choose what to do or say. In this sense, our conscience is activated by the tree of the knowledge of good an

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” (John 16:13) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message The Apostle John spoke to us of three that bear witness, the water, the blood, and the Spirit. “This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.” (1 John 5:6) We have looked at the testimony of the water both at creation and at the baptism of Yeshua in the Jordan. We also looked at the testimony of the blood as the speaking forth of covenant. The covenant which is the declarative act of union between 2 parties is ratified or made real and binding by the blood of the sacrifice. Yeshua gave His blood as an eternal sacrifice bringing us into an eternal covenant. “how much more
