The Glory: Kavod - David Mitts

“Then Moses said, “Please, show me Your glory!” (Exo 33:18) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message Give Now!   Last week I had the privilege of watching the movie: Jesus Revolution , which I wholeheartedly recommend, if you haven’t yet had the chance to view it. I was deeply touched and reminded of the power of my own testimony of searching for truth and being found by Yeshua! Lisa and I had for years pursued truth in all the wrong, empty places. We had climbed mountains to find truth, walked on fire coals to find truth, meditated, rebirthed in water, eaten vegetarian, chanted and followed gurus to find truth. It reminds me of drilling for oil in the sand where there is no oil.  As I watched the movie and saw these hippies take their drugs or hang out together it reminded me of the hunger in every heart to find the truth that remains. Moses was also a seeker and even with His God-encounters, he hun...

Deliverance: Being One - David Mitts

Image
“Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you also were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism,” (Ephesians 4:1-5) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message   Deliverance begins with a release from unholy attachments, loosening and is fulfilled in a binding, a covenant of oneness. This is process is accessed through the keys of the kingdom. “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."” (Matthew 16:19, NKJV) When we are fully integrated with the One who is One then we are free. It is our divided nature that keeps...

Being One - David Mitts

"The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one" John 17:22 (NASB) Click here to listen to " Being One " We have spoken last chapter about fragmentation as the strategy behind the current attack on the freedom that exists through those who have yielded themselves to the Lordship of Yeshua. Fragmentation is about the segregation of society and thinking into discrete areas of life that ultimately serves the purpose of totalitarian control. Yeshua called this a divided kingdom. "But He knew their thoughts and said to them, "Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided against itself falls." Luke 11:17 (NASB) Fragmentation has left us with a world culture that has replaced the leadership of the Kingdom of God with a secular leadership. This is really about slavery. We are being asked to surrender our God-directed freedom to deal with the existential fear in our hear...

Whose Image are You Bearing? - David Mitts

"Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner." John 5:19 (NASB) Click here to listen to " Whose Image Are You Bearing? " Graham Cooke once said: “ If we have a giant in our life it is because we are meant to be a giant ourselves. The circumstances in front of us are designed therefore to increase our size in the Spirit. So, upgrade your stature in relation to Jesus; and radically increase your power in the Holy Spirit. Or, if you prefer, just quit and never realize your true self and the inheritance that goes with it. ” We are privileged to live in times when the giants we face make us, like the children of Israel confront the size of the God that lives in us. We can be a Joshua or a Caleb and look at the harvest before us or we can be like the other spies an...

It’s all about Glory - David Mitts

"For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."   2Co 4:17-18 Click here to listen to  " It's all about Glory " Often it is difficult to live a godly life because we aren’t totally sure of what that means.  As we align our inner conversation of our heart, the voice of freedom isn’t just leading us out of the bondage of iniquity and sin , but into  a  destiny that is chosen for us from before the foundation of the world.  Many people struggle with the idea that we have a destiny and a purpose.  I believe that it is impossible to truly live a life of faith without some idea of our destiny.   Vision, destiny gives us a framework to make decisions and set goals for our lives.  We can’t just live ...

The Anointing and The Glory - Righteousness - David Mitts

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.  (2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV) You could say the purpose of the cross was for us who receive Messiah, to become the righteousness of God, in Him.  We have been pressing in for revelation of what it feels like to operate in the anointing of God.  I know we have been trained not to walk by feelings but by faith in the Word of God.  The Word however contains feelings galore! Listen to " The Anointing and the Glory - Righteousness " For example, David said: Let them shout for joy and be glad , who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, "Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant." (Psalms 35:27 NKJV) Favoring the righteous cause of the Lord, like Destiny House, brings a shout of joy and a gladness of heart. There is a shout in heaven and a corresponding shout on earth.  It also brings a true prosperit...

The Hidden Man of the Heart - David Mitts

Do not let your adornment be merely outward--arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel-- rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. (1 Peter 3:3-4 NKJV) We have been sharing about the inner image we carry and the veils of the flesh, cover-ups.   A veil is in place to protect something precious.   It hides the Glory. unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. (2 Corinthians 3:13 NKJV) Moses would speak with the Lord, face to face and impact of that interaction transformed Moses into his true nature which became a confrontation for the carnal man.   In his case, the veil was there to safeguard the people from the holiness of God, But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same ...
