B.E.S.T. Shabbat

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (1Jn 4:18). Our objective in our BEST Shabbat mornings is to be empowered to live lives of excellence in all areas of our lives.  To experience excellence, we want to possess our own vessels and allow God to perfect in us the design He has for us.  What I mean by “possess our own vessels” is to take ownership and responsibility or stewardship over the vessel that we have, to maximize the destiny or purpose God has for that vessel.  The vessel includes our bodies, our minds, our emotional self, and everything that the Bible sums up when it speaks of the heart. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6) The anointing of God is the power of God to manifest the will of God.  This is what Scripture calls the “Christ”.  Yeshua is the Christ, the anointed one.  He operates with the mind of God and thus reveals the will of God.  God’s thoughts and will are the same.  He is One. "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! (Deut 6:4) The declaration of the Sh’ma is the revelation of oneness but also the recognition that oneness and Lordship come through the way we listen. (John 14:1-3) At Shavuot, Pentecost the disciples received the power to become the dwelling places of the Lord. In our pressing in for the anointing which is the power of the Mind of Christ, I want to press in for the place of abiding. Listen to " Abiding in the Anointing " Shavuot means weeks which is the celebration as you know of the arrival of Israel at Mount Sinai and the giving of Torah on the mountain through Moses. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.  (2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV) You could say the purpose of the cross was for us who receive Messiah, to become the righteousness of God, in Him.  We have been pressing in for revelation of what it feels like to operate in the anointing of God.  I know we have been trained not to walk by feelings but by faith in the Word of God.  The Word however contains feelings galore! (Romans 6:13 NIV). The anointing is the power that we are clothed with from on high to manifest the will of God in the earth.  It has a purpose, the thoughts and intents of the heart of God, which is called the mind of Christ, or the mind of Messiah.  Christ or Messiah means literally anointing.  So, to be in Christ, is to be operating in the anointing.
