Mostly we think of the conversation as an interaction between ourselves and the voice or voices that direct our lives. We think and act on that thinking. In this way, who we are, is expressed in our actions which reflect our thinking. The term we use to express this dynamic is character. Every person lives by the inner conversation of their heart. The conversation of our heart will come from one of 2 sources, summarized by the names of 2 trees in the garden of Eden. The challenge with living in the theological construct of the “logos” is that it is an entity equivalent with creation and what undergirds it.  While this is certainly true and scripturally sound thinking it tends to lose the intimate life of the conversation of God.   The Big picture tells us that everything was made by God speaking. Hebrews 11:3: By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. (Heb 11:3) This is a power verse.
