Battleground Earth 17: Samson - David Mitts

""For behold, you shall conceive and give birth to a son, and no razor shall come upon his head, for the boy shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to deliver Israel from the hands of the Philistines.""   Jdg  13:5 (NASB)   Click here to listen to " Samson " God provides deliverers for His people even in their times of rebellion . Let’s look at Judges 13:1   "Now the sons of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, so that the LORD gave them into the hands of the Philistines forty years."   Jdg  13:1 (NASB)   The Hebrew word for “evil” is “ra ” and is composed of the letters,  reysh , which  means  head or authority, and ayin , which means sight or perspective. So  “ evil ”  is  related to  the perspective of authority.  Looking at today’s conflicts, we can see that there is much evil being promoted through the perspective of those in authority. Whether it ’s the “health exp...

Battleground Earth 14: Vows and Inheritances - David Mitts

"And Jephthah made a vow to the LORD, and said, "If You will indeed deliver the people of Ammon into my hands, then it will be that whatever comes out of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the people of Ammon, shall surely be the LORD's, and I will offer it up as a burnt offering.""   Jdg 11:30-31 (NKJV) Click here to listen to " Vows and Inheritances " Last chapter we shared about the issue of legitimacy, rejection, and the forging of a leader through the fires of rejection. Jephthah was raised up as a Judge in Israel to deliver Israel from the Ammonites, whose name means the mob.   The mob employs the power of bullying  and rejection.   It was the mob that  screamed “crucify ...

Battleground Earth 7: Fire of the Prophetic Voice - David Mitts

Villagers in Israel would not fight; they held back until I, Deborah, arose, until I arose, a mother in Israel. (Judges 5:7) Click here to listen to " Battleground Earth 7: Fire of the Prophetic Voice " The Book of Judges gives us an insight into the multi-aspects of God’s nature in the administration of His kingdom through Israel as they transition between Joshua and Kings. We have looked at the first three judges Othniel, Ehud, and Shamgar. Othniel, the Lion of God, Ehud, the oneness, and Shamgar, the heart towards the stranger have shown us 3 aspects of heart attitudes that affect our ability to walk in between our salvation and into the kingdom authority that is our inheritance. All of this is training in righteousness: The God of the people of Israel chose our ancestors; he made the people prosper during their stay in Egypt; with mighty power he led them out of that country; for about forty years he endured their conduct in the wilderness; and he overthrew s...

Battleground Earth 5: The Power to be One - David Mitts

"that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me." Joh 17:21 (NASB) Click here to listen to " Battleground Earth 5: The Power to be One " Last chapter we realized that justice in the earth comes from a recognition that we have an adversary who feeds on conflict. His methods or as the scripture calls them, schemes are oriented around inflaming passions that bring division. These are the actions of the roaring lion who is Satan. "Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." 1Pe 5:8 (NASB) Satan is not only a name of a being but a spiritual energy which brings accusation. "Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren ha...
