Deliverance: Being One - David Mitts

Image
“Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you also were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism,” (Ephesians 4:1-5) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message   Deliverance begins with a release from unholy attachments, loosening and is fulfilled in a binding, a covenant of oneness. This is process is accessed through the keys of the kingdom. “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."” (Matthew 16:19, NKJV) When we are fully integrated with the One who is One then we are free. It is our divided nature that keeps...

Battleground Earth 5: The Power to be One - David Mitts

"that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me." Joh 17:21 (NASB) Click here to listen to " Battleground Earth 5: The Power to be One " Last chapter we realized that justice in the earth comes from a recognition that we have an adversary who feeds on conflict. His methods or as the scripture calls them, schemes are oriented around inflaming passions that bring division. These are the actions of the roaring lion who is Satan. "Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." 1Pe 5:8 (NASB) Satan is not only a name of a being but a spiritual energy which brings accusation. "Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren ha...

Being One - David Mitts

"The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one" John 17:22 (NASB) Click here to listen to " Being One " We have spoken last chapter about fragmentation as the strategy behind the current attack on the freedom that exists through those who have yielded themselves to the Lordship of Yeshua. Fragmentation is about the segregation of society and thinking into discrete areas of life that ultimately serves the purpose of totalitarian control. Yeshua called this a divided kingdom. "But He knew their thoughts and said to them, "Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided against itself falls." Luke 11:17 (NASB) Fragmentation has left us with a world culture that has replaced the leadership of the Kingdom of God with a secular leadership. This is really about slavery. We are being asked to surrender our God-directed freedom to deal with the existential fear in our hear...

Hope through Association - David Mitts

A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing-- Life forevermore. (Psalms 133:1-3) Click here to listen to " Hope through Association " For the last couple of sessions, we have been looking at the key of image and vision in the activation of hope as an abiding reality in the pursuit of God’s destiny for our lives. The foundation stone revelation is that God created us in His image as a plural creation. Fundamentally, this means that we are created to express relationship. Reviewing: Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all...

Hope and Vision - David Mitts

Then the LORD answered me and said, "Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run. "For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay. (Hab. 2:2-3) Click here to listen to " Hope and Vision " Last session we began looking at hope through the lens of vision.   We realized that the vision we carry on the inside of ourselves about who we are affects what we have hope for.   Mostly, we saw that the image we have of God affects the image we have of ourselves and the nature of our reality.   Looking at Genesis, we saw that we are created in the image and likeness of God. Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image , according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that cree...
