“But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.” (1 John 2:20) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message   I read a t-shirt recently that gave t-shirt wisdom. You know, t-shirt wisdom is a quote usually from someone that people agree with. It can be a bible verse or some aphorism that someone spoke or wrote that motivated the thinking of those who ascribe to that philosophy or system of thought. The statement was “Hope is a poor strategy”. The idea was that if all you have is hope for things, then you stand very little chance of getting them, strategically. Psa 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. Psa 31:24 Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. Now Moses was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken later; but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house— whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end . (Heb 3:1-6) Click here to listen to " Our Destiny and Hope " Sons or daughters and servants have an entirely different destiny in the house of the Lord. In this verse, the writer of Hebrews contrasts 2 types of houses, the house of Moses and the House of Yeshua. Moses was appointed as the apostle o...
