Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. (Romans 6:13 NIV). The anointing is the power that we are clothed with from on high to manifest the will of God in the earth. It has a purpose, the thoughts and intents of the heart of God, which is called the mind of Christ, or the mind of Messiah. Christ or Messiah means literally anointing. So, to be in Christ, is to be operating in the anointing. "I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience testifies with me in the Holy Spirit," Romans 9:1 .
