Being One - David Mitts

"The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one" John 17:22 (NASB) Click here to listen to " Being One " We have spoken last chapter about fragmentation as the strategy behind the current attack on the freedom that exists through those who have yielded themselves to the Lordship of Yeshua. Fragmentation is about the segregation of society and thinking into discrete areas of life that ultimately serves the purpose of totalitarian control. Yeshua called this a divided kingdom. "But He knew their thoughts and said to them, "Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided against itself falls." Luke 11:17 (NASB) Fragmentation has left us with a world culture that has replaced the leadership of the Kingdom of God with a secular leadership. This is really about slavery. We are being asked to surrender our God-directed freedom to deal with the existential fear in our hear...

Whose Image are You Bearing? - David Mitts

"Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner." John 5:19 (NASB) Click here to listen to " Whose Image Are You Bearing? " Graham Cooke once said: “ If we have a giant in our life it is because we are meant to be a giant ourselves. The circumstances in front of us are designed therefore to increase our size in the Spirit. So, upgrade your stature in relation to Jesus; and radically increase your power in the Holy Spirit. Or, if you prefer, just quit and never realize your true self and the inheritance that goes with it. ” We are privileged to live in times when the giants we face make us, like the children of Israel confront the size of the God that lives in us. We can be a Joshua or a Caleb and look at the harvest before us or we can be like the other spies an...

Manifesting Sonship 2 - David Mitts

Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever. Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies. He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted with honor. The wicked will see it and be grieved; He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked shall perish. (Psa 112:1-10 NKJV) Click here to listen to ...

Manifesting Sonship - David Mitts

"For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." Rom 8:14 (NASB) Click here to listen to " Manifesting Sonship " Last chapter we spoke about the birthing times we are in and the travail to bring forth the sons and daughters of God. I want to look at some of the characteristics of the sons of God so that we can begin to extend our faith and order our inner conversation to align with the picture. This process is called meditation. "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer." Psa 19:14 (NASB) The key word in this verse is the word translated as acceptable. In Hebrew, this is the word “ratzon” which means Your will. So, if we retranslated the verse with that perspective we could pray, “let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart align with Your Will as You see it, O Lord, which is the power of my reality like a rock that I can stand o...

The Secret of Being the Living Sacrifice - Giving - David Mitts

""For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."   Joh 3:16 (NASB) Click here to listen to " The Secret of Being the Living Sacrifice " Clearly, we are in unprecedented times in our lifetime. Never before have we seen so clearly the power of the fear of death stop the world. Man, who has in one way or another rejected the love of God, has replaced Him, in many cases, with the fear of death.  The fear of death has a distortion effect on reality as perceived in the mind and heart.  It shifts our faith. The voice of the fear of death causes us to draw in and treat other people as a threat or a potential threat. You have only to walk into a grocery store during the crisis to feel, see, and sense the avoidance and extravagant grip that fear has on people. Why is this happening? Is it the correct response to the virus? Is this how God would have His sons and daughters res...
