“He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message   The goodness of God is the unfailing standard for all of life. The prophet Micah declares that the Lord has shown us His goodness. Yeshua tells us that the only standard of true goodness is the Lord Himself. “But Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.” (Mark 10:18) It looks of the surface that Yeshua is even saying that he isn’t good. But I think the true emphasis should be on the “calling” of someone good or evil. Mankind has no true standard of Good and Evil apart from God. Only God who is good can declare something good or evil. We see this is the creation described in Genesis where God calls that what he does, “good”. For example, in Day 3: “Then God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plan...

Battleground Earth 17: Samson - David Mitts

""For behold, you shall conceive and give birth to a son, and no razor shall come upon his head, for the boy shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb; and he shall begin to deliver Israel from the hands of the Philistines.""   Jdg  13:5 (NASB)   Click here to listen to " Samson " God provides deliverers for His people even in their times of rebellion . Let’s look at Judges 13:1   "Now the sons of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, so that the LORD gave them into the hands of the Philistines forty years."   Jdg  13:1 (NASB)   The Hebrew word for “evil” is “ra ” and is composed of the letters,  reysh , which  means  head or authority, and ayin , which means sight or perspective. So  “ evil ”  is  related to  the perspective of authority.  Looking at today’s conflicts, we can see that there is much evil being promoted through the perspective of those in authority. Whether it ’s the “health exp...

Battleground Earth 15: Yom Teruah and Justice - David Mitts

23 Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,  24 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.  25 ‘You shall not do any laborious work, but you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD.’” (Leviticus 23:23-25 (NASB)) Click here to listen to “ Yom Teruah and Justice ” In these unjust times, God  has made time in His schedule to  connect with us and allow us to activate His kingdom reality.  We are entering into the  Fall Feasts of the Lord, beginning today with the first Yom Teruah.    What I want to explore beyond the basic  understanding that the Feasts of the Lord are His feasts and His events  and  to  access them as  a  breakthrough in justice in these admittedly unjust times . I know that on the surface, blowing a shofar or raising a shout to the Lord may seem disconnected from ju...

Battleground Earth 4: Judgment Begins at Home - David Mitts

For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of  God? ( 1Pe 4:17 NASB) Click here to listen to " Battleground Earth 4: Judgment Begins at Home " These are times of great  challenges to our sense of justice, right and wrong. People are marching in the streets  crying out for justice.  Ancient racial evils and hatreds that are beneath the  veneer of  civilization  are being  exposed.   Many feel the wrongs and are trying to  express their outrage  and, in the outrage,  create more wrongs.  As we learned as children, two wrongs  do not make  a right .  The  Lord speaking through the Apostle Peter proclaims that it is the responsibility of the household of God  to judge ourselves and be agents of the gospel  of God. What does that mean? How can we be in the conflicts and be a...
