Purpose reflects perspective, how we see ourselves and our lives. Prophetic ministry is mostly about vision. The Bible tells us that without vision we lose restraint or discipline. “Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, but happy is one who keeps the Law.” (Proverbs 29:18) The Hebrew root used here to convey the concept of being without a guiding vision, without restraint is “parah”. This word is translated in various ways. The word picture literally means to have your hair loose and wild. The hair is connected to the glory of an individual or the unique nature of that person. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness, (2 Timothy 2:15-16 NASB). God holds us accountable for our level of diligence with our lives.  We are instructed to correctly handle or implement the Word of Truth in our lives and so operate without shame.  Shame both is the result of a lack of diligence and a factor influencing more lack of diligence.   Shame produces worldly and empty chatter.   This is a type of heart condition and speaking that is driven by the world and its influences and NOT the Word of God! Week 14: Vision Requires Planning A complete vision requires planning. Planning takes humility and courage.  Humility because what keeps us from planning in detail is perhaps uncertainty about the future and about our ability to succeed with our plans. And I will put enmity Between you and the woman,  And  between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel." (Genesis 3:15 NKJV) Here God lays out not only the vision for redemption but the plan.  He declares a war between the seed of man, which includes all humans but also Yeshua and the seed of the deceiver.  The deceiver’s seed will plan to bruise the heel of man and the Son of Man.  Yeshua will crush the head or authority of Satan.
