Deliverance: Mercy - David Mitts

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. (Mat 5:7) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message   Deliverance is a process of transformation from the thinking and actions of the world into the freedom of the kingdom of God. Like a piece of mail, deliverance isn’t just about the sending but also the destination. Israel didn’t just come out of Egypt. Israel was delivered into their destiny in the Land of Promise. We weren’t just delivered from sin and the world system but also into our destiny in the kingdom. Yeshua transformed many things as Messiah. One of the transformations was the moving of the Kingdom of God from a physical location to an internal kingdom. nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:21) One of the keys to accessing the kingdom within is the ability to release the need for judgment. Judgment traps us in grip of the judgments. ...

Living the Resurrected Life. The Testimony Part 7 Overcoming Disappointment in the Testimony - David Mitts

"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. (Rev 12:11 NASB) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message One of the main hinderances to writing the vision and making it plain so that we can run is the disappointments from these efforts in our lives in the past. We envision the result that we believe God wants for us and then we struggle to bring it to pass and for whatever reason it doesn’t happen. This begins to rob us of the power and trust to pursue again. This is the power of disappointment. It has the potential to damage our heart. “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fulfilled is a tree of life.” (Proverbs 13:12) We have all experienced the disappointment of believing God for a certain good outcome and seeing that outcome fail or at the very least come to pass in a greatly reduced fashion. This causes many...

Living the Resurrected Life. The Testimony Part 6 What You See is What You Say - David Mitts

"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. (Rev 12:11 NASB) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message Intentional speech is speech with a purpose. Purpose reflects perspective, how we see ourselves and our lives. Prophetic ministry is mostly about vision. The Bible tells us that without vision we lose restraint or discipline. “Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, but happy is one who keeps the Law.” (Proverbs 29:18) The Hebrew root used here to convey the concept of being without a guiding vision, without restraint is “parah”. This word is translated in various ways. The word picture literally means to have your hair loose and wild. The hair is connected to the glory of an individual or the unique nature of that person. A gray head is a crown of glory; It is found in the way of righteousness. (Pro 16:31 NAS...

Heart Meditation 15 - The Shield of Faith - David Mitts

Image
"in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one." Eph 6:16 To listen to the audio-only version click below  In contending with the evil of this present darkness, we have been pressing in for the activation of the eyes of our heart to shift our perceptions into the vision of the kingdom. The Apostle Paul, in training up his disciples in Ephesus said: "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints," Eph 1:18 Paul connects how we see to what we can hope for. Our inner imagination, the eyes of our heart needs enlightenment. How is that accomplished? By bringing our desire to see to the Lord who activates us into that seeing. Let me show you what I mean. Look with me at 2 Kings 6:15-16. In this segment of the history of the Chosen people, the Prophet Elis...

Manifesting Sonship - David Mitts

"For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." Rom 8:14 (NASB) Click here to listen to " Manifesting Sonship " Last chapter we spoke about the birthing times we are in and the travail to bring forth the sons and daughters of God. I want to look at some of the characteristics of the sons of God so that we can begin to extend our faith and order our inner conversation to align with the picture. This process is called meditation. "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer." Psa 19:14 (NASB) The key word in this verse is the word translated as acceptable. In Hebrew, this is the word “ratzon” which means Your will. So, if we retranslated the verse with that perspective we could pray, “let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart align with Your Will as You see it, O Lord, which is the power of my reality like a rock that I can stand o...

The Key of Restraint - David Mitts

"Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained,  b ut happy is he who keeps the law."   Pro 29:18 (NASB) Click here to listen to  " The Key of Restraint " Last chapter, we exa mined the  role of vision in the accomplishment of our destiny  and the importance of restraint.   The opposite of restraint i s  the  Hebrew word “parah” which is translated also as uncovered,  to be  naked,  to disdain, or  to go out of control .  There is a word picture in “parah” of  being untrained and  wild at heart  with a disregard for the instructions of  the Father.    Aaron and his eldest sons, at different times,  during the golden calf incident and  with the offering of strange fire were  “parah” and the impact was so severe o n  the vision o f  God for Israel that  it brought devastating consequences .   This is the import of restraint . Choices and Vision: The Kingdom key of restraint - David Mitts

"Then the LORD answered me and said, "Record the vision and inscribe  it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run. "For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay. "Behold, as for the proud one, His soul is not right within him; But the righteous will live by his faith."   Hab  2:2-4 Click here to listen to  " Choices and Vision " Vision allows running , momentum in our lives .  It is almost impossible to run in the dark.  The  more illumined and  clearer our path ,  the more energy  and focus  we have to run.  Vision is the place where intention and  faith expressed in action and results.  The fulcrum where vision becomes reality is choice . "Where there is no vision, the people  are unrestrained , but happy  is he who keeps the law."   Pro 29:...
