"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. (Rev 12:11 NASB) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message The Apostle John, who had the premiere revelation of Yeshua as the light of God and as the expression of the love of God revealed that there is a testimony of Yeshua that involves the water, the blood and the spirit. The last two chapters have been focused on the testimony of the water. Let’s turn to the testimony of the blood. This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ, not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three agree. (1Jn 5:6-8 NASB) Clearly John is telling us that there is an agreement between the testimony of the water, the blood, a...

The “ed” is the root from which we also get the word “mo-ed” which is translated as divine appointments, like Shabbat and the Feasts of the Lord which means, “from the eternal realms”. If we tie this altogether, our testimony is what opens the realm of the spirit in our lives. I remember in Revival meetings which we had the priviledge of being a part of in the early to late 1990’s, where we experienced the raw power of the Lord’s Presence which transformed our lives. One of the most powerful things to observe was the testimonies. As individuals began to share what God had done the previous day in their lives, they re-experienced it afre...

(Rev 12:11 NASB) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message Last chapter we spoke about disappointment and the key of healing the broken heart that makes us sick by lowering our expectations. Lowered expectations distort how we see the reality of possibilities in our life. As we drop our expectation we turn to gimmicks or self-effort and stop believing for the miracles of God to be part of our experience. It’s not necessarily the case, that we don’t believe in miracles, just that somehow, they are not a part of our individual story. The healing we are believing for, the provision for a big vision, the resurrection of a dead relationship, etc. become limited to what we know and understand through our natural seeing and corresponding expectations. In order to have a breakthrough, we...

Living the Resurrected Life. The Testimony Part 7 Overcoming Disappointment in the Testimony - David Mitts

"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. (Rev 12:11 NASB) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message One of the main hinderances to writing the vision and making it plain so that we can run is the disappointments from these efforts in our lives in the past. We envision the result that we believe God wants for us and then we struggle to bring it to pass and for whatever reason it doesn’t happen. This begins to rob us of the power and trust to pursue again. This is the power of disappointment. It has the potential to damage our heart. “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fulfilled is a tree of life.” (Proverbs 13:12) We have all experienced the disappointment of believing God for a certain good outcome and seeing that outcome fail or at the very least come to pass in a greatly reduced fashion. This causes many...

Living the Resurrected Life. The Testimony Part 6 What You See is What You Say - David Mitts

"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. (Rev 12:11 NASB) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message Intentional speech is speech with a purpose. Purpose reflects perspective, how we see ourselves and our lives. Prophetic ministry is mostly about vision. The Bible tells us that without vision we lose restraint or discipline. “Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, but happy is one who keeps the Law.” (Proverbs 29:18) The Hebrew root used here to convey the concept of being without a guiding vision, without restraint is “parah”. This word is translated in various ways. The word picture literally means to have your hair loose and wild. The hair is connected to the glory of an individual or the unique nature of that person. A gray head is a crown of glory; It is found in the way of righteousness. (Pro 16:31 NAS...

Living the Resurrected Life. The Testimony Part 5 The Voice and Intentional Speech, Influencing Our Reality - David Mitts

““And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” (Revelation 12:11) To listen to the audio-only version click below  We overcome through the blood of the Lamb, our testimony and not loving our own lives even when faced with death. We have been focusing on the power of our testimony, the words we use to connect with the power of our salvation, our healing and deliverance from the bondage of the world system. The world system throws us into confusion. It does this by overwhelming us with many voices. The word confusion comes from the Latin root, “confusio”, which means to mix together. We get into confusion when we mix the holy with the common. Distinctions disappear into the mess and our thinking and actions become muddy. The scripture tells us: for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. (1Co 14:33 NASB) This verse is in ...

““And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” (Revelation 12:11) To listen to the audio-only version click below  Giving Opportunity Message We live in extremely perilous times. What marks them as such is the delusions and divisions that are represented as truth in our world. Yeshua declared that such times would immediately precede His return. “And at that time many will fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another. “And many false prophets will rise up and mislead many people. “And because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will become cold. “But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved. “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:10-14) Betrayal, hatred, deceptions, lawlessness, and coldness of love. These are the ...

“And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” (Revelation 12:11) Note: No Audio of Video for this blog...text only We have been exploring the overcoming power of the blood of the Lamb. We saw that life is in the blood, and that the blood has a voice. It speaks or pleads on our behalf against the voice of the accuser. The voice of the blood also invites the Lord to live in our house, the temple of His Presence. We receive a blood transfusion and a heart transplant when we receive the Lord. All of this is inherent in the blood and the voice. This chapter, I want to turn our focus to the power of the voice as revealed in the testimony. The verse tells us overcoming comes by the “word” of the testimony. I want to dive deeply into that phrase. What is a testimony and what is the “word” of the testimony? The first use of the word testimony is in connection with miracle of man...
