Prophetic Snapshots 1 - David Mitts

Today, we are going to take a prophetic snapshot of some insights and understanding that hopefully will illuminate the hour we are in and give us some guidance on how to live and what to do. As the apostle Paul has told us, we acknowledge in advance, that we know in part and prophesy in part. We are waiting for the perfect One who will make all things new and partiality itself will disappear. Partiality is inevitable when we view ourselves through the lens of our identity, our roles in life and the strategies we have developed to survive.

William Shakespeare once said, “all the world is a stage and all the men and women merely players”, We all have many roles but transcending the roles is our true self and that is to whom I want to speak to today.

First, I am going to define the setting and the characters of the greatest drama ever written, the end of days. We are the midst of a serious storm of epic proportions. Yet we are in boat with Yeshua who speaks, and the storms obey.

The main players in the drama we are living in are the false prophet and the anti-Christ.

And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast. Men worshipped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, 'Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?'" — Revelation 13:1-4

Here, John shows us the dragon (Satan) and the Antichrist (the beast) coming out party into the world. The beast has 10 horns and crowns. Ten, eser in Hebrew is the number of agreed upon authority. He also has seven heads. Seven indicates a spiritual basis. One of the heads receives a fatal wound but the wound is healed. The heads are the governments of the world that yield to the beast, the antichrist. One of them seems to be mortally wounded but then somehow makes a miraculous comeback. This comeback of the wounded head astonishes the world who has expected them to vanish. Look for a government, or a nation that looks like it dies but then has a miraculous resurrection. To a deceived public, it appears the anitichrist can perform miracles and the people turn to him/them and give their allegiance

John continues: "The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months. He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast — all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world." — Revelation 13:5-8

This is soon coming. The antichrist utters blasphemies against God. What is a blasphemy?

First, a blasphemy is a contempt of the name and character of God.

“O God, how long will the adversary reproach? Will the enemy blaspheme Your name forever?” (Psalms 74:10)

This is a scorning of God. It also means to do something that makes the image of God be tarnished.

“"Therefore, son of man, speak to the house of Israel, and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "In this too your fathers have blasphemed Me, by being unfaithful to Me.” (Ezekiel 20:27)

This deception and blasphemy works with the leadership of the world which is desperate to abandon God.

John continues:

"Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth( falseProphet). He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon. He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men. Because of the signs he was given power to do on behalf of the first beast, he deceived the inhabitants of the earth. He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive the mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name." — Revelation 13:11-16

We see in this chapter that the first beast had suffered a wound, which looked like it killed him, but he recovered — Satan's nod to Christ's resurrection, but foisted on the beast to make him look divine. While the world did not accept Christ's sacrifice and resurrection, they do the beast's and worship him for it.

The Antichrist will be a political and military leader while the false prophet will become the world's spiritual leader whose job it is to bring the world to bow before Satan.

We must remember that John was operating prophetically with a perspective that was the best he could make sense of, given the technology of ancient Israel and the surrounding nations. Today, with genetic engineering some of the things John saw could be manipulated.

““But as for you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal up the book until the end of time; many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.”” (Daniel 12:4)

We live in time prophesied as the end of time where roaming about and knowledge increasing exponentially have given us the illusions of freedom, without responsibility to the ways of God.

There is a true antichrist and a true false prophet. Since we are speaking from a spiritual context, let’s look at some of the false prophecy which is an agenda with an intended one world man-centered government.

The first thing that stares the antichrist and the false prophet in the face is the reality that the wage of sin is death.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23).

How do they change this? They promote a gospel of transhumanism. What do they mean by transhumanism?

“In the future, a part of this class — individuals particularly sensitive to this question of the future — will realize that their happiness depends on that of others, that the human species can only survive united and pacific. They will cease to belong to the mercantile innovative class and refuse to put themselves at the service of pirates. They will become what I call transhumans.”

Transhumans are considered those who have freed themselves from the cycles of competition and innovation driven by the God-given responses to the human condition of sin and death.They promote a universal equality based not on individual destiny and motivations but driven by global perspectives. They set themselves up as the superior beings who sacrifice for the common good.

We have seen their footprint in the recent pandemic promoting global strategies of social distancing, quarantines for the healthy, vaccines, masks and economic controls through universal id cards. Restricting the participation in businesses and entertainment, the constraints on religious gatherings and the ability to unilaterally decide the essential natures of specific enterprises that they approve of for the “common good” is their trademark. These are the extensions of the false prophet who trades the gospel of salvation through Yeshua to salvation through universalism.

Once death as a direct consequence for sin has been transformed by the transhumans into a set of consequences for not obeying their dictates and the tools of resource control, the next redirect is the elimination of the family unit, father, mother and children. In the antichrist paradigm parents are relegated to donors and hosts of the incubation and production of life. Mothers serve as egg donors and fathers as sperm donors. They no longer can be seen as the trainers of children, raising them in a Godly context of goodness.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he grows older, he will not abandon it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

Public education is exalting itself as the true model for children to develop into universal, one world adults. The current attack on gender identity is not so much about deciding the sexual orientation of children as it is being promoted, as it is about replacing the image of mother and father with a social parenting structure. Male and female identities are seen as rigid stereotypes of a reproductive model that is no longer appropriate considering the challenges of global population issues including the idea that man is toxic to the planet through uncontrolled population and the overconsumption of natural resources and the pollution of the same world. The antichrist agenda is committed to replacing mom and dad with the global community, hence the idea that it takes a village to raise a child, not a mom and dad.

Once the family is removed the next change is the entire concept of land ownership. Families, clans, tribes, and nations derive their identity in connection with land. God promised His people specific land boundaries. Open borders and mass population shifts through social agendas destroy the integrity and land ownership and send the message that the land you think you own is just a lease and ultimately the antichrist and the false prophet will own it all. Organizations like the UN and multistate entities like the EU and NATO are the beginning of the end of covenant land given by God. This is the time to pay off your property because the banks will come and take it from you once the government owns the banks. The idea that refinancing your home to get cash out of it, is from the pit of hell and will allow them to leverage you right out of your God-given land ownership. Remember God’s covenants include the land.

Finally, for today the last thing I want to talk about is the abolishment of nations. Nations revolt against nations. The current war in the Ukraine is such an example but this is going on at one level or another worldwide. The antichrist and the false prophet will use this not for repentance and the coming of the kingdom of God but for the justification of a one world government where the antiquated idea of national sovereignty must yield to the greater good of one human race.

I will in closing remind you of Psalm 2:

“Why are the nations restless And the peoples plotting in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers conspire together Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, “Let’s tear their shackles apart And throw their ropes away from us!” He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying, “But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.” “I will announce the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have fathered You. ‘Ask it of Me, and I will certainly give the nations as Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth as Your possession. ‘You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.’” Now then, you kings, use insight; Let yourselves be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with reverence And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, that He not be angry and you perish on the way, For His wrath may be kindled quickly. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!” (Psalms 2:1-12)

Activation: As the Lord what are you to do in this time to let your light so shine that men and women will be drawn to Him? Greater is He that is within you that he that is in the world.

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and now it is already in the world. You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. They are from the world, therefore they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God. The one who knows God listens to us; the one who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” (1 John 4:1-6)
